Meet Our Staff

Krystal, has had a love and passion for animals her entire life and I enjoys dedicating that passion to taking care of your fur babies! She's been at the Poconos Barking Lot for 4 years and has extensive training in virtually all aspects of this business, from kennel tech, groomer and our special handler etc.! She now oversees all operations at this location, and she makes it a priority to ensure all the animals that come to the Poconos Barking lot feel comfortable, safe and most importantly feel excited to be there!

Kayla has been around a variety of animals her entire life. Currently she has a German Shepherd puppy, and 2 cats. She's worked at The Poconos Barking Lot for a little under a year and before that would help out the staff when needed. I wear many hats and consider myself a team player. I help the team as best I can... From the kennels, to the bathtub, to the grooming table. She takes pride in helping your fur-babies feel comfortable and safe!

She loves dogs and takes pride in making them feel and look their best ! She's a "doggie swag-pro" Yes that's a thing! :)

Lisette is the longest standing member of our PBL team.( She's been here19 years and counting ). Tenure like that doesn't come without a pure love for animals, Big or small, she loves them all. Right now she has 5 dogs, 2 cats a horse and chickens! Before working at the Poconos Barking Lot, she worked at other kennels, a shelter, and as a vet tech. She specializes in grooming matted dogs and very nervous/scared dogs. She believes in giving them time to get acclimated to the grooming salon and give positive reinforcement. her happiest moments at work are when a previously scared dog comes running through the door and greets me with joy on their face.

Dana has been a part of the Barking Lot Team for over 3 years and counting! she's the bather extraordinaire! She gets to scrub and blow dry your precious pups before our groomers can work their magic. She also learned to groom and tend to our boarding dogs as needed over her tenure with us. She has always been drawn to “rescue dogs” and currently has a pit/Doberman mix of her own. Her favorite part about working At the Poconos Barking Lot is seeing the change from a new, "wild puppy personality" to a dog who trusts & loves coming here to be groomed by our team!

If you've visited the Poconos Barking Lot, you've probably met Gabe, if you're new, brace for it... because he's a hoot!! Even though he's only 3 years old, he likes helping The PBL team and enjoys greeting customers. If anyone on the team is having a "ruff" day, he has an unlimited supply of cuddles and kisses locked and loaded. And if his mom (Lisette ) is working with an insecure dog, he loves to touch noses and tell them they are in good hands. He's always excited to meet all your four-legged family members, and owners too.
